New Interesting Job Opportunity!

This is a New & Interesting Job Opportunity for anyone who is looking to earn between $400.00 – $5000.00 + each month from home!

We are NOT an MLM, or a Home-Party company, or a company where you have to buy huge amounts of inventory, a Get-Rich-Quick scheme/scam (if that’s what you’re looking for, we’re probably not the right company for you – there I said it)…

Now that I told you what we are NOT – I’d like to tell you a little bit about what we are!

We are a 25-year-old, debt-free, health & wellness company providing more than 350 products in health & wellness that people use literally every day of the year. We were green 25 years ago when “green” was just a color!  If you know 10 people who clean their homes/apartments, take showers, wash their clothes, take vitamins/supplements, use some kind of skin care system, buys over-the-counter medicines – we are FOR you!

We love & value our customers, who 95% of the time, month after month, purchase our products online or by phone! We do this because it really is about helping the little-guy (95% retention rate)…& the money earned from those monthly sales goes back in to the local economy through the incredible residual income that is secured for anyone wanting a 2nd or extra stream of income.

Today’s baby-boomers can not afford to retire now, and 1 out of 4 says they’ll never be able to afford to retire.  That’s crazy – It’s insane that working 20-30-40 years for the same company – or a myriad of jobs does not give us a secure financial future. When I was released from my job of 23 years, 6 weeks ago, I knew I had to get down to the brass tacks and take the company that I had played with for almost 15 months, earning a few $100 a month, was the future I saw for myself and that I needed to review what I had done in the past and that by being consistent & persistent, I too could have the life I wanted without being chained to a desk in a company that did not care about me!

In a Time Magazine article in an acknowledgement of reality, 40 percent said they plan to work “until I drop.” & there is another poll that indicates that

44% of Americans born between 1946 and 1965 are not confident that they’ll have enough money to live comfortably in retirement, according to a new Associated Press-LifeGoesStrong.com poll. More than half (57%) say they lost money during the recent economic downturn and many who were affected (42%) say that’s why they’re delaying their retirement.

Economic anxiety has certainly taken its toll on us. Pensions, social security, and individual savings plans like 401k accounts aren’t secure enough to float the average midlifer’s retirement boat. The recession and its aftermath have not only tarnished our anticipation of the Golden Years but in many cases eliminated the option.

There is an answer and it’s not a “get-rich-quick” scheme – In fact Dave Ramsey, the financial guru, has called our company the Get-Out-Of-Debt company with real-time solutions – That’s what I call an impressive reference!

Financing Your Life

So many people today don’t look forward to their retirement – with no way to make ends meet.  And, getting up tomorrow and heading in to their 9-5 job, knowing that as much as they’ve given to a company, over sometimes many years, that the company is no longer the same as it was and they are no longer valued the way they once were.

I know how that feels!  One day at the end of my shift, I was told my services of 23 years were no longer required. The terror and the pain and the hurt were so overwhelming that in numbness I stumbled out the door with my little box of “stuff”.

I had already started a small side business with a rapidly growing health & wellness company who had for 25 years supported the growth and value in the “little guy” (or gal in my case).  Only by working diligently and consistently and maintaining a steadfast message of caring for people am I able to show people I do care and that I’m not going away.  So many people, first the award-winning author, Marcia Fine, and Alan Pariser, a Corporate Director, and now Renee Preis see something in me that I don’t yet see – but I’m not giving up and I’m not going away!

It is so important to know and be aware of the pain in others.  Everyone is scared and don’t know if what they value today will even be there tomorrow.  I was at a business coaching class last night led by Renee Preis International for Savvy Business Entrepreneurs and had the distinct honor of meeting Bill True, screenwriter & speaker, and he shared with us about the Spirit of the Entrepreneur!  Did you realize that in 1900, 95% of the population in the U.S. were entrepreneurs?  From shopkeepers to salesmen to the blacksmith and the list goes on and on – this isn’t something new!

When the Great Depression hit our nation, people developed what was termed the “American Way”. And, we’ve striven to protect that “way” ever since – that you work 40 hours a week for the same company for 20-30-40 years and you retire from that company with a pension & Social Security.  Well – those days of the “American Way” are really over.  But do NOT fear!  Fear kills and destroys hope and so much more than that!  Don’t let it destroy you! FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real!

Don’t be afraid of what tomorrow may bring – someone shared with me a few weeks ago that “When God shuts a door, He always opens a window” – just make sure you pull back that curtain and see the sunshine coming in through that window!

When Someone Is Negative About Your Company…

How do you handle it when you’re standing there in front of someone who has a negative attitude about your company? You’ve done nothing but be supportive of this other person’s company and expect a little respect and open ears to hear what you have to say.

Do you run for cover? – Do you stand there and say OK – it’s not for you right now? – Do you get defensive about what you think is the greatest thing since sliced bread? – Do you …???

Yesterday I found myself doing all 3 of my responses above. I also wanted to figure out how to dig a hole into the pavement and just cover myself up!  When you try the 30 second elevator speech with someone who is not willing to listen or actually won’t permit you to sit and do a legitimate presentation, are you doing them a disservice by even trying to talk to them at that moment?

It’s so important to find a way to bring value to that person – But, how do you handle it when you really don’t know what that person values? No matter how well you think you know them. You think they care for people, but it still always comes down to time & money and what they want to accomplish.

So, we’re all in the same boat together – we want to be of value to each other. We want to give quality information about our own passions and loves and we have to see that it really may be “not right now” for people when you’re introducing them to new concepts and ideas.

Take the time to build relationships – we are back to the “who you know” mentality of the “good-ol-boys” (gals) groups!  Learn how what you have is of value to someone else and always realize that it takes real face-time (and not 100% Facebook) to build those relationships.

Maybe, if you’re the sole proprietor of your own business, your new office is at a Starbucks and not at your laptop in your den/office!  Get out – Get to know people – Experience what is important to people and then show them how you can be of value to them and their goals.  We all have goals…so – when can we meet for coffee?

What is Attraction Marketing? What are the Laws of Attraction?

An overview of online marketing. A simple grap...

Image via Wikipedia

We hear how the Law of Attraction Marketing is so great – but are there people out here in the world-wide-web who share this information without wanting your money? – I know – it’s all about the $ but…If we really do want to bring good to people and pay it forward, then we must provide value to people without expecting anything in return.

We must share what we know with others so that in helping others we are able to provide the absolute most value! We are all a part of something bigger than ourselves – we no longer have only ourselves to think about.

The Law of Attraction Marketing is very well laid out in a blog by Toni J Young – she indicates the following points for us to follow – you decide which ones are “Paying It Forward” and which ones are “For Profit Only”…I’ve made some decisions of my own – but I’ll keep those to myself!

1) Being yourselves and the value you share with others are factors that make you attractive to other aspiring entrepreneurs.

2) Lead Capture page is something that makes marketing another attractive prospect.

3) Autoresponder

4) Bio Page

5) The Funded proposal is another great tool for attraction marketing.

6) Primary business opportunity or product/ service

7) Affiliate Marketing

She suggests you ask a specific question for the home-based business prototype – “Would you like to learn how to use the internet to earn money from home”?

Attraction marketing & how it can explode your business

From the response to this question, you can then follow up with them with your information for your own home-based business.  When you are confident that your home-based business is really the best for anyone who will look at it…then you can have confidence in following up with that person for more contact information to really share your business.

But again – it really is about what you consider paying it forward.  I heard it today – If you provide people what they need to be successful – it will provide you with the success you seek. – We are more than the one, – we do this together!

There are so many ways to share what matters to us – and the trick to the Law of Attraction is finding those who value the same things.  There was a line on CSI (Crime Scene Investigators) just now on CBS – Great line – “If I’m helping people, I’m not hurting them” – what a great thought!

Happy Monday Morning to everyone! I am so excited about this new phase of my life. I am so excited about now having the time to help enhance the lives of people I touch by helping them reach their goals.

It’s the mission statement for Melaleuca, the Health & Wellness company and one that I embrace completely and totally.

I have partnered with a company that can help bridge all those gaps & goals – I want to help you! and share with you! how with this specialized U.S. manufacturer of almost 400 consumable products, we can reach out and help those you know to do the same!

I see “Buy American” all the time – with my company – that statement says it all. We have the science, the manufacturing, the shipping & the customer service (more than 3400+ people) all working here in the U.S. to bring the best, safest, greenest (yes – green) products for your health & home!

This weekend I had the distinct pleasure of caring for 2 of my grandbabies. Isaiah is 4 and Leilani is 2 – they’re brother & sister and I must confess I was afraid of watching 2 at the same time alone. Everyone’s up hunting in the mountains so it was just me and them. It was a complete ball…not bragging, because I know it has to do with their parents and how they are loved and being raised, but they were so good.

We called it a “Granny Weekend” (that’s me – Granny) and we did silly things like coloring and cooking and yes – we snuck to McDonald’s last night for dinner (SHHHH) but they were a total delight and I know now that I can do it.  They also helped me at the Laveen, AZ Health Fair (Thanks to Bernadette Gasior of the Gourmet Bunny Jewelry and Laveen Fitness Boot Camp) on Saturday until the heat got to much for them…I don’t know what I was afraid of – that they’d be hyperactive – or unable to be calm with a Granny that tends not to be!  They didn’t even cry one time and at 4 & 2 it’s kind of expected…and Isaiah takes very good care of his little sister.

So, I figure if I can do that &  have fun & survive…I can do anything!  So, that’s what I am going to do – Not just survive, but thrive.  There is no reason why with all the gifts God has given me that I can’t share those gifts with everyone I meet.

My company, Distinct Inspirations, is my own home-based business as a Marketing Executive for Melaleuca.  I’m so honored to be a part of this organization and want to share with anyone who will listen the benefits of having better, safer, non-toxic products in their homes & lives.  This isn’t a plug for my own company, but it is definitely a comment of  my dedication to show anyone, anywhere, anytime, how they can be a part of the “green movement” with a company that has been “green” for more than 25 years…long before “green” was cool!  I hope if you’re reading this that you’ll take the time to give me a shout @DistinctInspirations@Gmail.com and let me show you how it can work for you and your family and household!

What in your life would you change if you could?

What would you change?Your age? Your retirement plan?  Your job? What is it, that if you could do it all over again, you re-do?

Right now, I am looking back on a lot of different events in my life that have brought me to the point I am today. Would I change any of them?  Sure! BUT would I be the person I am today – where I am today and would any of it be “better”?

I really and honestly don’t believe so.  I believe that there is a plan for our lives, and that He brings us exactly where and how He decides. Has it always been pleasant? – Heck no! But without my children I would never know my grandchildren.  Without a babysitter quitting on me at night and having to find daycare before morning would I ever have been in the right place to find my church home at Pleasantview here in Phoenix through their private Christian K4-8th grade school more than 20 years ago? I doubt it.

Every path we go down has a benefit or a consequence…I think that every path I’ve gone down has had a benefit (although some would say consequence) and now, with new paths in front of me again, I just pray for the guidance to choose the one that will bring benefit to everyone I know…because we are NOT in this alone – We are all touched every day by the people all around us.

Without recent financial situations, would I have been open to the suggestion of starting my own home-based business?  Probably not – but it has been a ball and continues to open my eyes to the wonderful possibilities that lay before me with a future that is wide open!  And the people I am meeting, like the award-winning author, Marcia Fine, and the effervescent Gia Heller, and the women at the Arizona Women Networking organization – Oh my – what fun!!!

So many neat things to learn and do and learn some more and may it all count for His gain and naught of my own – for without Him, I am nothing.

Writing this post made me remember a song from long ago (I found the words and am going to sing it Sunday) – it goes like this.

(Mylon R. Lefevre)

Without Him I could do nothing
Without Him I’d surely fail
Without Him I would be drifting
Like a ship without a sail

Without Him I would be dying
Without Him I’d be enslaved
Without Him life would be worthless
But with Jesus thank God I’m saved

Oh Jesus, oh Jesus
Do you know Him today
Please don’t turn Him away
Oh Jesus, my Jesus
Without Him how lost I would be
Without Him how lost I would be
